Thursday, Jan. 21, join Conversations host Linda Solomon Wood for a special event with Ms. Ethel Blondin-Andrew, as they delve into her formidable life and career as the first Indigenous woman elected to the House of Commons and serve in the federal cabinet.
What will they be talking about?
They will talk about the leadership of Indigenous Nations in conserving lands across the country. The way Indigenous stewardship is:
- Creating jobs,
- Strengthening food security
- Inspiring youth.
The role of Indigenous-led conservation in meeting Canada’s climate and biodiversity commitments will also be discussed.
